Kristina Kress serves as the Coordinator of Community Schools and Academic Development Services for Placer County Office of Education. Kristina has been an educator for over 25 years, and she has taught grades K-adult as a general education teacher, special education teacher and intervention teacher during her tenure. Kristina has extensive training in PBIS, Professional Learning Communities, MTSS, Intervention and all curricular areas. She has most recently been the lead teacher for Placer County Office of Education’s Comeback program, assisting adults in earning their high school diplomas.
Kristina and her husband are proud parents of three grown children who have all grown up in the area. She has developed several relationships with community partners in her work for her students, and she is passionate about supporting students and families so that students can achieve at high levels and help to build stronger communities.
