Megan Ortolivo

Megan serves as the Staff Secretary of Community Schools for Placer County Office of Education. She has been an educator for over 20 years, primarily in the Early Childhood Education field. Megan was the site Director of a local preschool for 3 years, and had served as the Assistant Director and a teacher for 14 years prior. Megan has had a great passion for the growth and well-being of young children for as long as she can remember. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and continued with a master’s in Early Childhood Development from California State University, Sacramento.

Megan and her husband have two daughters who have attended school in the Rocklin School District since Kindergarten. As a mother of school-aged children, Megan is dedicated to expanding her knowledge of the programs, policies, and education that will serve to assist children in their academic and life successes.
