Rayito Farris

Rayito Farris serves as the Coordinator of the Community Schools Initiatives and Family and Community Partnerships at the Sacramento County Office of Education supporting the Capitol Area Regional Transformational Assistance Center (R-TAC). With over 28 years of experience in education, Rayito has held various roles including dual immersion teacher, English Language Coordinator, TK-12 Administrator, and Full-Service Community Schools Coordinator.

Rayito is passionate about involving families and the broader community in each child's educational journey. She firmly believes that when families are actively engaged in both school and community, students thrive and are able to make the most of all the opportunities available to them.

Through her extensive experience and commitment to fostering strong partnerships, Rayito has successfully implemented programs that have positively impacted the lives of students and families. Her dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive educational environment has made her a respected leader in the field of education.
